Started this project back in 2005. Basically I wrote a computer macro to take the entire text of the Bible, courtesy of Project Gutenberg, and strip all verses, formatting,etc. I limit the text to fit on a 36"X46" poster. The text is then given varying opacities to visually represent the context of the scripture. This is the first in the series. The complete text of Genesis and Exodus. Up close you can read, but if you step about 10ft back, the image comes to life. Try zooming in to get a feel for the actual project. One day I hope to finish the 39 other pieces of artwork for this project. Stay tuned.
